Flippr has no accounts and asks for nothing about you. Your flips, your statistics, and any moments you write stay on your devices, and move between them only through your own iCloud. We collect anonymous usage data to understand how the app is used, and you can turn that off at any time.
Everything you create. Flip results, statistics, streaks, and custom moments are stored on your devices — and, with iCloud Sync on, in iCloud under your Apple Account — and are never sent to us.
With iCloud Sync on, which it is unless you switch it off in Settings, Flippr keeps your flips, your coin, and your moments the same on every device signed in to your Apple Account. To do that, each device keeps a daily tally of its own flips, its name (a Mac’s computer name; an iPhone’s or iPad’s model), your coin choice, and your moments in iCloud. Apple holds it under your Apple Account. It is never sent to us, and we cannot read it.
Flippr uses PostHog, a third-party analytics service, to understand how the app is used — which features are opened, how often the app is launched, your app version and device type, whether iCloud Sync is on and how many of your devices use it, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. This is not tied to any account, and we never receive your name, email address, or contact information.
Open Settings in Flippr and switch off “Share anonymous usage data.” Nothing further is sent.
We don’t show ads, we don’t track you across other apps or websites, and we don’t sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
Flippr is suitable for all ages. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
